Our Ohio District's U.S. Representative, Dave Joyce, was the only Republican to vote against the resolution to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress. Here is what Mr. Joyce said about his vote: "As a former prosecutor, I cannot in good conscience support a resolution that would further politicize our judicial system to score political points. The American people expect Congress to work for them, solve policy problems, and prioritize good governance. Enough is enough."Truer words have hardly ever been spoken. I wish Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan and Ohio Senator J. D. Vance and several others in our congressional delegation would heed them.
